Apple iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S III display quality battle Samsung might be winning it after all
The image on the Galaxy S III should reportedly be with better saturation, and more vivid, vibrant. The difference should be tiny and probably even negligible, but it technically is still there.
Still, with âbetter calibration, higher brightness and superior power efficiencyâ the iPhone 5 might make Samsungâs GS III look âoversaturated and unrealistic,â Vinita Jakhanwal of iHS noted.
The two devices show the best of iOS and Android, and are set to be direct rivals in the market, but in actuality they are very different. iPhone 5âs 4-inch screen might seem small for those who want more space, like what the 4.8-inch SGS III display provides.
Both devices are extremely thin, and when it comes to the displays weâve also heard reports about just how well calibrated the iPhone 5 screen is, and thatâs one of its biggest pluses. The iPhone 5 uses an LCD screen with in-cell touch technology while the Galaxy S III features an HD Super AMOLED panel.
