HTC One M8 launched in India,price Rs.49,900, hit store from 7th May

HTC finally launched its latest flagship HTC One M8 in the Indian market.The device will be available from 7th May onwords at a price of 49,900.

HTC One M8 comes a 5-inch Full HD Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density is ~441 ppi which is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.The smartphone powered by 2.5 GHz Quad-core Krait 400 processor with a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 and coupled with 2GB RAM.HTC One M8 will runs on latest Android v4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

The device will continue to have dual-front speakers, but gets a two camera setup that HTC calls ‘Duo Camera’, something called ‘Motion Launch’, Extreme power saving mode and the brand new Sense 6.It has 16GB inbuilt memory and expandable upto 128GB by using microSD card.

The new HTC One M8 gets rid of any polycarbonate or plastic for the sides as the chassis is almost completely metal. The phone also debuts their latest version of Sense which features an enhanced BlinkFeed experience. They’ve been opened up to developers so Foursquare and Fitbit updates can be pushed through BlinkFeed now.

It also packs a 2600 mAh Non-removable battery and company claim which have 40 percent better battery life than the previous model that is HTC One M7 or the old HTC One.HTC One M8 has other than the standard power saver mode,‘Extreme power saver’ mode will shut down all communications except calls, text and emails.

About the Camera specification HTC One M8 sports a Dual 4 MP, 2688х1520 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash rear camera which recorded video 1080p@60fps, 720p@60fps and a 5 MP front facing camera.

About the connectivity option it included Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot,Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP,NFC,Infrared,A-GPS.It also support 2G network,3G network as well as LTE network.
