2 day ago we publish a news that Nokia X received one million pre-order in China,this news is completely fake news and sorry for that.
Actually a e-commence site RetailerJD.com set up a contest where participants could hit a pre-order botton for a chance to win a Nokia X.The pre-orders didn’t require you to register with the site or put any money down, which is not the norm for China.
Entrants were also able to “pre-order” for each of the 4 colours, suggesting much less than 1 million Chinese were interested in the handset.
On the other hand LiveSide.com does note that at around $100 the handset is pretty cheap, even for an Android handset, so it may still do pretty well in the end. However for now we should withhold judgement until much more information is available.
